Seamen’s Club UA opens the opportunity to undergo real training in Riga and obtain a legal working diploma of the Latvian Maritime Administration, which gives the right to work on European ships

📚 Training courses:

⚙️ Ordinary:

• Sailor
• Motorman

🎓 Officers:

• Navigator on ships up to 500 tons.
• Mechanic on ships with a main engine up to 750 kW.

An officer’s diploma gives the opportunity to work on the European coastal fleet and yachts ⛵️

💶 Tuition fees

• Deckhand / motorman — €1,050
• Navigator up to 500 t / mechanic up to 750 kW — €2,050

Additional:

• BST certificate — €200 (mandatory)
• Basic Tanker — €200 (optional)

🏠 Accommodation and support

• Student hostel in Riga — €150/month (room with shower and toilet, shared kitchen). Can be shared — only €75 per person
• Residence permit in Latvia — 3 years based on training
• Organization of transport and support

🚢 Internship and work

• Guaranteed internship on merchant ships (dry/wet fleet).
• Paid internship — from $800 to $1,300.
• A diploma from the Latvian Maritime Administration gives the right to work on the merchant, river and passenger fleet of Europe.
