“Reserve+” – to be or not to be, that is the question?

📌 The agency clarified the procedure for exchanging Seafarer’s Identity Cards (SIC):
🔹 Your “Reserve+” status is irrelevant – it can be anything. The main requirement is to be registered and prove it.

🔹 If your SIC was officially and legally extended by institutions authorized to process and issue seafarer’s documents, then it is accepted for renewal.

❗️ Important: only official extensions are considered valid. “Garage” extensions and illegal schemes will result in prosecution 🤯
