Ukrainians will need to decide whether to remain in the EU by switching to a different legal status or prepare to return to Ukraine — the EU Council has published recommendations.

This concerns the transition to national status in specific countries:

🔘residence permit through work (including maritime professions),
🔘study,
🔘self-employment,
🔘family circumstances, and other grounds.

❗️ If you are unable to obtain such status, it will no longer be possible to maintain temporary protection.

It is worth clarifying in advance what options are available in your country of residence and taking care of the necessary documents to continue legally working and residing in the EU with your families.
