The cost of obtaining ID cards, international passports, and temporary and permanent residence permits has increased. This was officially announced by the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
The price increase is not related to procedures, but rather to the government updating the price of biometric document forms produced by the Ukrainian Polygraph Plant.
❗️ Important: If you’re getting an ID card for the first time, it’s still free.
💳 New prices:
- ID card — 618 UAH (regular), 988 UAH (urgent)
- International passport — 1147 UAH (regular), 1787 UAH (urgent)
- Permanent residence permit — 1235 UAH
- Temporary residence permit — 1140 UAH
📌 Transitional rules:
If you paid and submitted your documents before December 31, 2025, your application will be processed at the old prices.
If you paid before the end of 2025 but submitted your application in 2026, you’ll have to pay the difference.
