In short, the process is simple, but there are nuances that can lead to refusals.

Let’s break it down step by step:
1️⃣ Completing the DS-160 form
This is the basis of the entire application. It’s important not just to “fill it out,” but to do it logically and without any inconsistencies. Any error or inconsistency can raise questions during the interview.
2️⃣ Registering a personal account
After completing the form, a profile is created for the application—you will use it to track the status and schedule an interview.
3️⃣ Paying the consular fee
Without payment, the system will not allow you to select an interview date.
4️⃣ Schedule an interview
Choose a convenient date and prepare for the key stage.

❗️The most important thing is not the documents, but how you appear to the consul.

During the interview, three main things are assessed:
— the real purpose of the trip
— a stable income
— ties to the country of residence (work, family, property, etc.)
The consul’s job is to understand that you are traveling as a tourist and will definitely return.

📌 Therefore:
coherence between the application form, documents, and your answers is important.
