We regularly receive requests for help “getting a work permit,” but almost no one understands the key step, without which the entire process is impossible.
In the UK, things work differently:
1️⃣ You need an employer who is licensed as a sponsor (approved sponsor).
2️⃣ The employer submits the application and undergoes government verification.
3️⃣ Once approved, they issue you a Certificate of Sponsorship.
4️⃣ Only at this stage can you apply for a work visa.
❗️Without a licensed employer, it is impossible to get a work permit.
