Our History

More Than a Club – A Community for Seafarers!

Seamen’s Club Ukraine is a community of professionals and like-minded individuals in the maritime industry, created to bring together people connected to the maritime field and support their development.

The official launch of the club took place on August 12, 2023, under the leadership of Captain Artem Panchenko. Since its founding, our mission has remained unchanged: to help seafarers handle life and professional challenges, share experiences, and find answers to any questions.

We created this space so that every seafarer feels part of a larger team, can find support, build valuable connections, and discuss current topics.

Our team includes experienced specialists from various maritime sectors who are always ready to share their knowledge and offer advice.

Irina Panchenko

Head of Seamen’s Club UA, Legal Counsel.

Irina Panchenko is the head of Seamen’s Club Ukraine and a lawyer with over 10 years of experience. Leading the club, she dedicates her work to protecting the rights of seafarers, providing them with necessary legal support and information.

With a master’s degree in law and many years of practice, Irina effectively addresses legal issues faced by seafarers and strengthens the maritime community’s trust in Seamen’s Club Ukraine.

Captain Artem Panchenko

Author and Speaker of Educational Courses

Becoming a captain in 6 years is impossible? Artem has proven that anything is achievable, the main thing is the desire. He is a speaker and author of numerous maritime educational courses, such as:

Chief Officer on Container Vessel. Specific course

Artem is a representative of BCA College and Cyprus Maritime Academy in Ukraine. An experienced specialist who has done everything for the comfort of seafarers.

Alexander Andrushchak

Captain

Captain working offshore since 2012, with extensive experience on various types of vessels and platforms.

Work Experience:

2012-2014: Chief Officer, AHTS DP1/DP2
2014-2019: Master, AHTS DP1/DP2
2019-2023: Master/OIM, Self Propelled JackUp Barge

Author and speaker of educational courses for seafarers aiming to develop in the offshore industry.

Sofia Chelbasheva

Expert in Container Shipping

Sofia is a logistics expert with over 5 years of experience. During this time, she progressed from secretary to operations manager, demonstrating determination and professionalism.

She specializes in container shipping and export-import operations, effectively solving client tasks and providing a high level of service.

Currently, Sofia works as an operations manager at the freight forwarding company TGL UKRAINE, where she helps clients optimize logistics solutions.

Dmitry Knyazev

Senior Electromechanic on LNG Fleet and FSRU

Creator of technical courses for gas carriers, speaker of LNG-LPG courses, interviewer in crewing, and trainer for interview preparation. Expert in ExProof equipment.

Expertise:

Training and preparing mechanics and electricians for interviews
Consultations on all LNG ship systems
Electric motors and high-voltage equipment
Dual-fuel engines, ExProof equipment
Special training for gas carriers

Panteleimon Myynov

Specialist in PSV DP-2

He began his maritime career immediately after reaching adulthood, starting on a bulk carrier and then on General Cargo. Realizing he wanted more, he chose the Offshore fleet, where he began building his career in a challenging but promising industry.

Within a year, he advanced to 2nd Officer and obtained a Full DP ticket. When he took the exam at the Nautical Institute office, he was congratulated as the youngest DPO officer.

Since 2022, Panteleimon has been working on PSV DP-2 in the North Sea, developing within the Offshore fleet. He actively shares his experience with colleagues, helping them master new horizons in the offshore industry. Author of the course: “DP Basic. First step in offshore”

Victoria Dragomirova

Crewing Manager

Victoria is an experienced crewing manager with 6 years of experience, specializing in the recruitment and support of seafarers for the passenger fleet (Deck & Engine Department) 🛳.

She also has experience working with the bulk carrier fleet and 2 months of work in a Dutch shipping company specializing in guard vessels and multi-purpose vessels.

Currently, Victoria works as a crewing manager at Ismira Ukraine ⚓️, continuing to help seafarers find the best opportunities for work in the fleet. She can provide you with:

Vilena Loboda

CEO Assedo Recruitment

Vilena is an experienced professional with many years of expertise in foreign economic activity, customs brokerage services, and yachting 🛥️.

Work experience:

11 years in foreign economic activity / customs brokerage services
6 years in yachting — working on private and charter yachts ranging from 30 to 120 meters
Consultant in the yachting industry

Halyna Halyant and Irina Arbatmanova

Co-founders of EnRoute Language Centre for Seafarers

Experienced maritime English teachers with over 13 years of experience, including 10 years at NU “OMA.”

Their main goal is to help Ukrainian seafarers develop professionally and achieve success in top shipping companies.

EnRoute LC represents many years of experience, a professional approach, passion for their work, and a focus on results. We offer proprietary courses, individualized approaches, and interactive educational tools for your comfort in language learning.

Anastasia Savchuk

Psychologist

Master of Psychology, psychotherapist in the process of certification in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Certified specialist in body-oriented therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

Currently studying sexology. Certified yoga instructor. Has over 17 years of practice and more than 10 years of education in psychology and psychotherapy.

Valeria Voloshenyuk

SMM Specialist and Sales Manager

Future maritime law lawyer and student at Odessa Maritime Academy.

Has experience in developing promotion strategies and client interaction.

Acts as a link to the youth, inspiring students to take their first steps in the maritime field and supporting their professional beginnings.
