What is ЄДКІ
ЄДКІ for specialty 271 “Maritime and Inland Water Transport”
ЄДКІ is a mandatory state examination that completes the training in specialty 271 “Maritime and Inland Water Transport”. It is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and covers key professional competencies for future specialists.
Passing the ЄДКІ is a necessary step for obtaining a qualification and a state-recognized diploma. This is the final stage of assessment, confirming that the candidate’s knowledge meets IMO, STCW standards, and the requirements of Ukrainian educational programs.
Who is ЄДКІ intended for?
ЄДКІ covers three specializations within specialty 271
The exam is taken by students studying in the specialty 271 “Maritime and Inland Waterway Transport”, regardless of their chosen specialization. ЄДКІ includes a unified test for the following training areas:
271.01 — Navigation and Operation of Maritime Vessels
271.02 — Operation of Ship Technical Systems and Complexes
271.03 — Operation of Ship Electrical Equipment and Automation Systems
The exam format and evaluation criteria are the same for all three specializations.
How does ЄДКІ take place?
Format, duration, and objectives of the qualification exam
🧪 The exam consists of 100 test questions. Each question has 4 answer options, with only one correct answer. Each correct answer is worth 1 point.
- 🕒 Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours)
- 📉 Passing score: specified according to regulations
