The following is planned:
- A new high-speed taxiway – 2.5 km
- An apron for 12 aircraft
- A deicing area
- Reconstruction of existing runways
After the modernization, the airport will be able to handle up to 28 aircraft simultaneously (instead of the current 16).
❗️The last flights will take place on October 25, and on the morning of December 5, Wroclaw will reopen its winter route network. Tickets are now on sale.
⚠️ Ryanair, Wizz Air, and Lufthansa will relocate their aircraft to other countries during this period. No mass transfers are expected in Katowice (except for one cargo flight).
Therefore, plan your flights in advance and check the routes.
