❗️ Important!
It is not possible to verify a Certificate of Competence/GMDSS issued through the Seafarer’s Account (with a QR code). First, you must complete the procedure for replacing the certificate with a government-issued one.

🟒 Verification
Verification is currently mandatory. Therefore, both the certificate and the confirmation must be verified on the MorAd website.

Study Requirements

  • 12 months in the last 5 years
    or
  • 3 months in the last 6 months

If your experience is insufficient, then:
🟒take the CES test or complete refresher courses;

  • two additional certificates are required (verified on the MorAd website):
    🟒 Personal Life-Saving Appliance and Lifeboat Specialist Certificate (except high-speed rescue boats)
    🟒 Advanced Firefighting Specialist Certificate

🟒 What else is needed?

  • A valid Ukrainian medical examination
  • Basic Safety Specialist Certificate (BSSC)
