The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Yuriy Kononenko as acting head of the State Service of Maritime and Inland Waterway Transport and Shipping of Ukraine (Shipping Administration).
According to Government Order No. 131-r of February 6, 2026, Kononenko will serve as acting head from February 10, 2026, until a new head is appointed in accordance with the established procedure.
📍 Personnel Changes
Earlier, on February 9, the former head of the agency, Mykola Kravchuk, announced his departure from the position he held since January 2025.
🫡 Prior to his appointment, Yuriy Kononenko served as First Deputy Head of the Shipping Administration (since August 2025). Over the years, he held management positions at the State Enterprise “AMPU,” headed the enterprise’s Reni branch, and also worked on transport and communications infrastructure issues at the Odesa Regional State Administration. He is a graduate of the Odesa National Maritime University.
