The abolition of roaming fees in the EU comes into force on January 1.
Vodafone was the first to announce this initiative for Ukrainian SIM cards, but other operators will also join in.
💬 “Ukrainians traveling to or living in Germany will be able to use their Ukrainian mobile phone contracts to access the internet and make calls without additional fees. Meanwhile, Germans in Ukraine with a Vodafone contract will also be able to use their smartphones as usual, without significant additional costs. Deutsche Telekom and O2 will launch this service on January 1,” reports Frankfurter Allgemeine.
