High levels of lower flammable limit methane (LEL) may be detected in the HT cooling water, causing gas relays to trip.

This occurs due to high pulsations at high loads, when gases penetrate the pilot injector pre-chambers (cone seals).

There are venting procedures to release these gas bubbles with a valve closing/opening sequence… But this issue is still under investigation—we hope it will be resolved in the near future.

For now, expect water pressure surges and hot water backup pump switching at high loads.

Refilling the buffer tank may help somewhat in this situation.
