If you apply in person directly to the captain’s office, there’s practically nothing to worry about—they usually have a terminal, and you can pay the fee on the spot.
However, if you submit documents remotely and are only coming to Poland to obtain your PESEL and Profil Zaufany, questions may arise.
You can pay the fee in several ways:
✔️ via Revolut;
✔️ via Wise;
✔️ at a Polish bank (seafarers most often use Pekao);
✔️ at a Poczta Polska (Polish Post) branch;
✔️ at Żabka stores, where you can also pay many government fees.
⚠️ Before paying, be sure to check:
- the correctness of your bank details;
- the purpose of the payment;
- fee amount;
- applicant details.
Even a small error can result in the payment not being identified, which means the process will be delayed.
If you don’t want to deal with all the details yourself, Seamen’s Club Ukraine will help you with every step of the process of applying for a Polish seafarer’s passport—from document preparation to receiving the completed passport.
