Seafarers arrive confident that they have everything ready, only to be rejected on the spot.

Why does this happen?
Because there are nuances that they are either unaware of or don’t pay attention to.

We’ll look at the 3 most common mistakes 👇

1️⃣ No verification of the NBZhS certificate

A very common situation: the certificate exists, but it does NOT pass verification.
This is discovered on the spot, and the documents are simply not accepted.
Result: wasted time, money, and the need to redo everything.

👉 Before submitting, ALWAYS check the verification.

2️⃣ The photo does not meet the requirements

It may seem like a small thing, but this is one of the most common reasons for refusal. Problems can include:
— wrong size
— poor quality
— incorrect background
— old photo

👉 It’s best to have your photo taken immediately, strictly according to the requirements of the Polish seafarer’s passport.

3️⃣ Not queuing in advance

Many people think they can just show up in the morning and apply.
In reality, people queue up early in the morning, and sometimes even earlier.

👉 If you arrive late, you risk missing your application altogether.

📌 Conclusion: the process itself is not complicated, but any small issue can delay the application.
