A visa-free entry permit, a regular PESEL, a Profil Zaufany, as well as temporary protection or a residence permit obtained in another EU country, are not, in and of themselves, considered Polish residence permits.
Important: For applications submitted before the new regulations came into force and not yet processed, the new Article 10a does not apply—this is expressly provided for in Article 6, Article 1 of the new law. (Dziennik Ustaw)
